It’s still Baseball Time in Texas! After months and months of waiting, we can FINALLY welcome (a limited number of) fans to the beautiful Globe Life Field! It is home to the 2020 National League Championship Games and the World Series. I was lucky enough to go to NLCS Game 1 as a fan and it was so surreal looking around the ballpark to see Braves, Dodgers, Rangers and baseball fans alike in their pods throughout the stadium.

For those of you that are new here, Globe Life Field is my office as I work for the Rangers! Many people have texted, DM’d me, etc. about last minute questions before the game so I figured I would put some of the FAQs here and give y’all some resources to check out before coming to the ballpark:

  1. Where are the best places to take pictures?

Well I’m SO glad you asked! Here’s a video we put together that shows you exactly where to go. The jersey wall on the side of the sky porch & the baseball wall are my favorites!

  2. Where’s the best place to park?

I would recommend parking in Lot B or Lot T if you can as they are the closest to the ballpark. Other Lot options are J, L, D, W, V or R. You can find the parking map here and pre pay for parking passes here. They will be $25 for NLCS games and $30 for World Series games.

  3. Are concessions stands open?

Yes they are! Food and alcohol are for sale during games, as you can imagine they are more limited than a normal season but still worth your while!

  4. Are there hard tickets?

Nope! All tickets will be digital and through the Ballpark App so make sure to have it downloaded and updated before you head out to the game.

  5. Can I bring in a small purse?

No. Purses (even small clutches) will not be allowed into the stadium. However, you can bring a diaper bag if you are with an infant or a bag if it’s required for medical reasons.

  6. Are we allowed to tailgate?

Tailgating is not allowed at all for the 2020 Postseason in any of the parking lots around Globe Life Field. However, if you’re looking for a fun pregame option, definitely check out Texas Live!
